From first registration, Get Parents Dating is well laid out, so you won't waste any time flicking through the site map trying to find the right section, or getting confused figuring out your inbox! Messages look just like an email screen, so the layout is familiar, and the main home page works like a social media feed so you can scroll through one post a time (unless something, in particular, catches your eye!).

You do need to subscribe to a paid membership to be able to send messages, but the site is flexible and isn't pushy in trying to force you to pay anything. The functionality works well, and I didn't find a single broken link, naff function, or inaccessible page. When it comes to the user base, I couldn't find any stats about exactly how many guys and girls are on the site, but my first pass brought up 24 matches within 20 miles of my town, which is better than I'd expect being in a small corner of Sussex.
The messages function works equally well; you can choose whether to get email alerts to see when someone has contacted you, or turn these off if you're busy elsewhere. Site admin also messaged me when I signed up, which feels like a nice personal touch (even if it's probably an automated message!).
